Eurobike 2027 is back to June 30–July 2, reversing its own September announcement from just weeks earlier. That U-turn hands the entire September slot to Towards Tomorrow – European Bike Show, the exact rival Eurobike's original move was designed to block.
In May 2026, Eurobike shifted to September 1-3, 2027, explicitly because "the majority of the industry clearly favoured September" — a direct play against Cologne. Now it's ceded that ground entirely, landing back in a June window that overlaps the opening week of the 2027 Tour de France, timing organizers themselves had criticized before. Towards Tomorrow, backed by ZIV and Koelnmesse, keeps its September 6-8 date uncontested. Two reversals in one cycle isn't a stabilizing signal — it's a show that couldn't hold its own line against a rival with structural industry backing.
