FDJ United-Suez signed Anja Grossmann, 17, on a two-year deal starting 2027 — days after she took the junior XCO world title. She arrives with no requirement to match riders who've spent years at WorldTour level, because the team isn't buying a finished product.
In her first 18 months as a junior, Grossmann has already collected a European junior cyclocross title, road bronze at the 2025 UCI Road World Championships, and now the 2026 junior XCO world crown. FDJ United-Suez is signing her to keep developing across road and cyclocross rather than forcing an early specialization. As manager Stephen Delcourt put it, she "embodies what we want to build: a young, multidisciplinary athlete... with still so much to discover." That's a patience bet other WorldTour squads rarely make on a 17-year-old.
