Charlie Aldridge won the Les Gets XCO Short Track on a Cannondale Scalpel running Fox's electronic suspension prototype — the first competitive XCO victory for a system evolved from Fox Live Valve Neo, which until now was offered only for Trail and All Mountain applications. The prototype reads terrain via sensors on the front and rear brakes, feeding data to the damper control unit at 400 times per second and switching between open and locked modes in 14 milliseconds.
