Gall didn't drop Roglič on La Pandera — he stayed with Mas while Roglič lost the wheel. That's a different story than a climber finding form: it's Roglič cracking on terrain where the podium fight was supposed to be three-way, and it puts him on the back foot with a time trial still to come.
Mas and Gall pulled clear together inside the final two kilometres, leaving Roglič behind by around 25 seconds on the climb. Gall now sits 4 seconds ahead of Roglič for second overall, with Mas holding 2:06 on Gall and 2:10 on Roglič. Seven stages remain before Granada, including a stage 18 time trial where Roglič will need to find more than 4 seconds back.
