Isaac del Toro beat Paul Seixas on the exact Worlds circuit two weeks before the rainbow jersey is decided. He didn't wait for the sprint — he attacked with 300 metres to go, on the uphill drag, and Seixas had no answer.
That timing matters more than the win itself. It says del Toro has already solved Côte Camillien-Houde's finish: strike on the climb, don't save it for the flat. The two had split from the field together after Seixas jumped clear of Ben Healy with 11.5 km left, and del Toro was the only rider able to go with him — a preview of exactly the move that will decide September 27.
