Mads Würtz Schmidt heads to Nannup missing only one line on his 2026 palmares. He's already the first rider to complete the Traka Double — The Traka 200 and The Traka 360 in consecutive years — plus a solo win at Unbound Gravel 200.
At The Traka 360 he became the first rider to break 10 hours on the course, setting a new record on top of the double. Add the 2025 European title and a dominant Unbound 200 solo ride in Emporia, and there's no gravel result left to chase except the rainbow jersey. The 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships in Nannup on October 10-11 is the obvious next target, not a stretch — he's already beaten the two hardest fields on the calendar this year.
