Rider reps met Vuelta a España 2026 organisers after Stage 13 hit 41°C. The concrete result: riders can now grab bottles and musettes from team cars all the way to the finish, instead of the usual 10-20 km cutoff. No route changes, no shortened stages, no adjusted start times for Stages 14-15.
Hugo Houle called the talks open, saying organisers are "working on coming up with solutions" — but the solution so far is logistical, not structural.
