Continues: Continental has launched a 32mm version of its tube-type Grand Prix, previously…

Schwalbe is releasing two full 32-inch gravel tyre models, the G-One RS Pro 32-inch and G-One RX Pro 32-inch, each in 50mm and 55mm widths, from April 2027. A wheel size that started as a lab curiosity now has a matched product range from the category's largest tyre maker — that's the shift from prototype to infrastructure.
Schwalbe's own head of product management, Felix Schäfermeier, admitted the company was initially sceptical 32 inches would matter at all. Testing reversed that: Robin Gemperle won Unbound XL on RX Pro prototypes, and Schwalbe now cites measurable gains in grip, cornering speed and rolling resistance on uneven ground. Gravel bikes built around this wheel size start arriving autumn 2026 — Schwalbe timed its retail launch to have tyres ready the moment frames exist to mount them on.
