The bike at Sea Otter Classic 2026 isn't a reimagined Focus Mares. It's the redesigned Focus Atlas 2026, Focus's dedicated gravel line, and the 55mm tyre clearance floating around doesn't match what Focus actually built.
The Atlas fork clears 53mm tyres, but the rear caps out at 48mm on the 6 Series aluminium frame and 45mm on the 8 Series carbon. That's a real spec bump for 2026 — no more road boost spacing, plus a new in-frame "Prep Pocket" on the carbon model — just not the 55mm figure attached to it.
