Factor says the Elara's aerodynamics are "validated in the wind tunnel." No published test data backs that up — no CdA numbers, no watt comparisons, no competitor benchmark, from Factor or anyone else. What is confirmed is odder than the marketing claim: the Elara ships with Black Inc 64, a 64mm-deep wheelset built for gravel, a depth normally reserved for road racing.
Factor's own product page leans on wind-tunnel validation as a selling point, but the underlying numbers aren't public. What is verifiable is the hardware choice: pairing a gravel race bike with a 64mm-deep wheel is unusual enough to be the actual story here, wind tunnel claims or not. Until Factor or an independent outlet publishes the data, "aero-road territory" stays a marketing line, not a result.
