Firefly launches titanium All Road with rim brakes, 40mm tires

Firefly has unveiled the All Road, a full-custom titanium bike with rim brakes and 700×40mm tire clearance. The bike runs a new titanium fork built for medium-reach calipers, also with 40mm clearance. Firefly worked with Cane Creek to modify Brompton eeBrakes with traditional cable pull for the build.
The frame uses 3D-printed chainstay yokes and seat tube knuckles to achieve the 40mm clearance, along with a new 3D-printed through-bolt dropout design that Firefly says is lighter and stiffer than its older plate dropouts. Josh Ogle Design collaborated with Firefly on the project. The All Road is compatible with SRAM AXS, Shimano Di2, and Campagnolo mechanical shifting. A rim-brake frameset with matching titanium fork costs $7,200, while complete custom bikes run $10,000–$15,000 or more. Firefly, based in Melrose, Massachusetts, said of the decision: «No one was asking us for a new rim brake model in 2026. But we still believe in the value of the simplicity of rim brakes…». Firefly's Kevin Wolfson added: «Disc brakes will continue be the right choice for most people. But we think there's still real value in good rim brakes for some riders, particularly people who prioritise the simplicity and classic design of rim brakes.»
