Continues: Pogačar won stage 6, but he had to share the finish-line clock with Enric Mas t…

Imanol Erviti isn't questioning whether Pogačar can win — he's questioning whether anyone can read him. «We don't know if he was racing at 100% today,» the Netcompany Ineos DS said after stage 6. That's not concern trolling, it's an admission: a rival team studied the same race everyone else watched and came away with nothing.
Erviti isn't picking a side between "Pogačar is cracking" and "Pogačar was coasting" — he's saying the finish line gave him no way to choose. Pogačar and Enric Mas crossed together, the overall lead still grew to 3:34, and the two of them put nearly a minute into everyone else on the road. From outside the team car, that result is compatible with total effort and with deliberate conservation, and Erviti says as much: «It's difficult to interpret what happened to Tadej.» His own fix is to wait — «we'll find that out in the next few days» — because a single stage produced a scoreboard, not an answer.
