The result, in rim brake trim, is a fully built bike at 15.8 lb: lighter than a number of production carbon climbers. Every frame is mitered, welded, and painted under one roof in El Retiro, Antioquia; Scarab calls its approach "mass customization," dialing geometry from a set of proven variables matched against individual rider inputs.
