Marianne Vos won the elite women's UCI Gravel World Championships 2026 in 4:30:04 on the 125.6 km course, her second Gravel World Championship title. Rosa Klöser took second after an early puncture and a late crash a few kilometres from the finish, while out front with Vos. The day after, Magnus Bak Klaris won the men's title, and Cyclingnews calls him the first gravel specialist to win it, ending five years of road professionals winning since 2022. Nannup produced two opposite results: Vos won a second Gravel World Championship title, and a gravel specialist won the men's title.
What this means
Bak Klaris is now the rainbow jersey holder and Vos has her second Gravel World Championship title.
Vos's winning time was 4:30:04 over 125.6 km, and the women's race was wet with temperatures barely above 10°C, while the men's race was drier. Klöser finished second after an early puncture and a late crash a few kilometres from the finish, while out front with Vos. On the men's side, Cyclingnews credits Bak Klaris as the first gravel specialist to win, a result that ends road professionals' run since 2022. The men's race covered 144 km with 3,713 m of climbing, and Cyclingnews says 85% of the route was gravel.
