Benjamín Noval's time trial win in Montreal completes the junior Worlds double — only Evenepoel has done the same since the event's format began. Netcompany-Ineos already has him signed and skipping U23 entirely.
Noval is the first Spanish rider to win the junior time trial title, and doing it alongside the road race win puts him alongside only Evenepoel, who managed the same double in 2018. Netcompany-Ineos signed him at 16, with his 2027–2028 contract sending him straight from juniors to the WorldTour. That pathway has undone plenty of prospects with results this good — the double says he's fast now, not that the jump will work.
