France won the elite mixed relay team time trial at the 2026 UCI European Road Championships in Slovenia on 6 October, taking their third title in the event. They completed the 44 km course in 1:00:29, beating World Champions Italy by 1:12. Luxembourg took bronze, 27 seconds faster than fourth-placed Poland.
The French men's squad of Bruno Amirail, Remi Cavagna and Thibault Guernalec set the fastest time at every time check on the men's leg, reaching the 8 km split in 13:15, 26 seconds quicker than Italy. France stopped the clock at the changeover in 28:03, more than two minutes faster than Slovenia and 24 seconds faster than Italy. On the women's leg, Juliette Berthet, Cédrine Kerbaol and Maeva Squiban caught the Polish team despite Poland having started four minutes ahead. Italy's Mattia Cattaneo, Marco Frigo and Matteo Sobrero handed over to Elisa Longo Borghini, Monica Trinca Colonel and Alessia Vigilia, but Italy lost Trinca Colonel early on lap two of the women's leg and shed time quickly afterward. «It's really cool. I think there is kind of a prophecy. We did three times second in Worlds and now it's the third time we get the title at Europeans, so we are really happy… the last days have been a bit hard with recovery from the Worlds.» — Cédrine Kerbaol.
