Lennart Jasch caught Abel Balderstone on Gunung Jerai and rode away to win stage 2 of Le Tour de Langkawi. It's his first summit finish in a week-long race, and it's already put him in the GC lead.
Jasch has three professional wins this season, all of them mountain stages, all of them in 2026 — Tour of the Alps, Il Giro d'Abruzzo, and now this. He's 25 and in his first year as a pro, having left speed skating after an injury in 2023 and only joined Tudor's main roster in mid-2026. The gap on Gunung Jerai grew to 16 seconds by the line; with bonuses, he leads Balderstone by 20 seconds overall and Jan Castellon by 38.
